Planning is for other people. So far the last two times we have planned a Civilization 4 session, I have had to cancel do to two no-shows. The time before that we had the AI take the place of one of our players. I am somewhat confused as to why we can’t sync our schedules enough to allow for ~2 hours of overlapping free time.
I would recommend that perhaps one of the other players can propose a time, because it seems like I don’t have enough skill points in team management.

Hello world. It looks like I can post from my PDA now. I can understand if no one but me cares, but I think RPC can be cool.

To whom it may concern, we are meeting together to play a multi-session game of civilization 4 today (March 3, 2007 ~6:30PM CST.) We will coordinate on Skype (before and during.)
I suspect that I will host (b/c everyone knows my IP address.) Everyone should make sure that you are connecting on the correct UDP port. The default port is 2056. This can be found in : C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier’s Civilization 4\CivilizationIV.ini
(Around line 233)
; NetComm Port
Port = 2056
All players will need to setup UDP forward for this port if they are behind a NAT.
Please also make sure you are running version 1.6.1 of Civilization 4 (without the expansion set) You can download a patch to the latest version from here: http://www.2kgames.com/civ4/downloads.htm
